![]() Sam continues to argue that "nature makes caution". Maybe, they touched it once, and know not to touch it again - like in the case of Moses from the Bible. People do not touch the hot stove because they fear they will be burnt. What exactly is the force of nature? What causes that to keep someone from doing something. ![]() Sam says its nature that keeps a man from burning himself Lige vehemently declares it to be caution. This brings about a very interesting argument, as I still try to piece together the importance of this question. Lige asks, "Whut is it dat keeps uh man from getting' burnt on uh red hot stove-caution or nature?" (pg 64). While reading, a question between Sam Watson and Lige Moss caught my attention. ![]()
